It is a profound honour to be named Master Elect of Priory Lodge for the ensuing year. While the title is new, the work began in earnest back in November during our committee meeting, where I presented my plan for 2026 and proposed the lineup of Officers who will support the Lodge during my year.
Now, the timeline is tightening. We have only two rehearsals remaining before the Installation ceremony on January 24, 2026. My current focus is entirely on the ritual—specifically, memorising the addresses to the newly appointed officers I will have the privilege of investing.
I must admit, the feeling is a complex mix of excitement and genuine nerves. However, the anxiety is tempered by the incredible support I am receiving from the experienced Brethren and Past Masters of the Lodge. Their guidance is ensuring I feel ready to take the Chair.
