My Masonic journey began in September 2015, and over the last decade, the Craft has become an enjoyable part of my life. This blog, The Winding Path, is where I document that ongoing experience—exploring ritual, history, friendship, and fun, as well as the lessons being learned.

A special Date
I was Raised on June 24th, 2017—a day I will always remeber, as it coincided exactly with the UGLE’s Tercentenary celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall.
Just to clarify, I did not attend the celebration in London. My 3rd Degree took place in Sindlesham, Berkshire. I watched the celebration the following day online.

I am also a devoted Companion of Ascot Chapter, currently serving as 2nd Principal, where I continue to explore the completion of the Third Degree.

Freemasonry is a lifelong school of self-improvement. I started this site to capture the experience of progressing through the offices, visiting other lodges, and diving deep into Masonic history. Whether you are a Master Mason or just curious about the Craft, I hope you find some Light here.
